Policies

Policies and Procedures:

-A fifty percent deposit is required when the reservation is booked.

-A $ 50.00 security deposit will also be required at the time of booking; this is not a cleaning fee and will be refunded, assuming there is no damage and that your accommodation is left in neat condition so no excessive cleaning is required.

-Linens are not provided as a condition of the rental agreement but can be provided at an additional charge of $45.00. Linens will include one set of sheets per bed, bath towels, hand towels, facecloths, bath mat, dish towels, and one beach towel per renter.

       *Linens will be provided for weekend or short-term rentals (2-3 nights).

-Deposit can be made in the form of a personal check or by a credit card (see reservation information).

-After the deposit is received, a simple rental agreement will be sent to you via email or USPS. You will also receive a map to help you find The Petunia Patch or Sweet Pea. You’ll sign the agreement and return a copy to Carol Stewart at 59 Pierce Avenue, Lakeville, MA 02347

-Guests are asked to abide by the check-in and check-out times stated on the rental agreement. It is important to allow time for the cleaners to do their work well before you come and after you leave.

-When you arrive at The Petunia Patch or Sweet Pea cottage, the door to your accommodation will be unlocked and you’ll find keys on the kitchen counter.

-Our names and phone numbers are posted so please don’t hesitate to call if you have a concern or perhaps a question about a beach or the best places to eat!

-Noise: Guests are asked to be considerate of others and to keep the volume of talking, TV, radios, etc. at a reasonable volume, particularly after 9:00 p.m.

-There is a firm NO PETS policy. This means no pets of any kind.

-Trash: 1)trash receptacles are provided at the side of The Petunia Patch. All trash can be placed in these receptacles except for bottles and cans. A separate trash container is provided and is marked for bottles and cans. 2) Please keep the lids of the trash cans snapped down tight to prevent animals from gaining access.

-At check-out, all keys will be left on the kitchen counter and the door will be left unlocked so the cleaners can come in.

-Expect the refund of the $50.00 security deposit within a week after your departure.

Cancellation Policy:
For a full refund of the deposit, cancellation must take place at least (60) days prior to the check-in date. After the (60) day mark, funds received are not refundable under any circumstances unless and until the accommodation is rented by the owner or some other agency. Following the re-rental, deposit or other funds associated with the cancelled reservation will be returned.
