Every time I find myself having a stressful day, I often end up daydreaming about being here, relaxing in the clean and clear air and enjoying the vibe of Oak Bluffs. During our most stressful times, when we discuss "running away" together, we always look at one another and say, "I wish we could just go to Sweet Pea RIGHT NOW." Thank you again!

This was our sixth year vacationing at The Petunia Patch. We love the house and love the variety of things to do on the island. This year we enjoyed nature walks at the Polly Hill Arboretum. We tried new restaurants in Oak Bluffs including SideCar and the MV Chowder Company. Linda Jean's is always a favorite for breakfast. Oak Bluffs has a great and fairly new art distict - about a 15 minute walk from The Petunia Patch. Of course we always enjoy ice cream at Ben and Bill's, right on Circuit Ave. Another great vacation!

We did so many great things - went to Menemsha for sunset, the Agricultural Fair, and Morning Glory farm for the best corn and ginger pear jelly. At Back Door Donuts in Oak Bluffs, we even stood in line with the Obama girls! We loved the house and the neighbors were great! I guess you could say we had a fantastic time! It was such a lovely vacation. Thank you so much - you and Roger are wonderful hosts!

We had a wonderful two weeks here. We went to Menemsha and biked to Edgartown! Next year, we'll bike to Aquinnah (only kidding). Lovely weather and we'll miss having our morning coffee in the sunshine. Two weeks definitely does the trick. Thank you again, Carol and Roger, for a wonderful cottage to enjoy the island.

What a wonderful week we had! Great weather - hot, but perfect at night. We rented bikes and especially liked South Beach - big waves and soft sand. The kids loved the game Arcade and the Flying Horses Carousel. I loved the bakery (the chocolate chip cookies ROCK!). We ate breakfast on the porch and watched the people stroll by. We loved MV, loved The Petunia Patch. We hope to come again next year! Thanks Carol and Roger for making us comfortable.

Carol and Roger, we enjoyed our stay so much! I have a lot of childhood memories of staying on the island at this house. It was fantastic to have my children get a little taste of Vineyard life. They're enchanted! The Petunia Patch is so convenient for short trips here and there and relaxing in between. The boys loved biking to the Campground, the park, and of course being able to walk to the beach! The flowers everywhere are just gorgeous. Everything was lovely! Thanks so much for sharing The Petunia Patch with us.

We mostly went to the beach at Long Point in West Tisbury and we loved it. I did a lot of walking - every morning I walked on the bike path to the Edgartown bridge, which is about 3 miles! Ben and Bill's ice cream is the best! My girls loved the game Arcade and The Flying Horses. Enjoyed eating at The Bite in Menemsha - the clams were terrific. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this old house, The Petunia Patch, and can't wait to come again next summer!
